OPEC basket price up 59 cents to $109.35

The OPEC daily basket price rose 59 cents last Friday and stood at USD 109.35 a barrel compared with USD 108.76 a barrel the pervious day, the cartel said Monday. The average OPEC basket price in October stood at USD 106.69, in November at USD 104.97 and in December at USD 107.34, it added. The new OPEC Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) is made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
