Awqaf minister meets commissioner-general Arab Center for Human Rights

Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Wael Arabiyat on Wednesday, received Commissioner-General of the Arab Center for Human Rights and International Peace Mahmoud al-Shammari and the accompanying delegation.
Arabiyal stressed the important role played by the center to spread human rights values in Arab countries and the world.
He said that the ministry and its affiliated institutions such as the Zakat Fund, work to implement laws and protect the society, adding that the ministry also seeks to implement projects to achieve development in the society.
Al Shammari praised accomplishments that have been made by the ministry and the Zakat Fund.
