Doha - Arabstoday

Al Gassar Resort has become the first residential development in Qatar to offer residents cutting-edge Qtel Fibre services. Resorts Development Company, the master developer of the luxury waterfront destination, actively engaged with Qtel to create a “comprehensive, resort-wide” Qtel Fibre solution. With full technical support from Qtel throughout the construction process, Al Gassar Resort now offers access to Qtel Fibre in all its 422 apartments. This means every apartment at Al Ghassar Resort will have access to Qatar’s fastest-ever Internet connection and “next generation” Mozaic TV. Resorts Development Company assistant chief operating officer Mohamed Sleiman said: “Al Gassar Resort further reaffirms its status as a premier business, lifestyle and leisure destination with the installation of the state-of-the-art fibre optic technology from Qtel. “Being the first development in Qatar to adopt this revolutionary communications service, Al Gassar Resort again sets new benchmarks and distinguishes itself as a leading innovator in the country’s luxury hospitality landscape. “Moreover, this agreement demonstrates our commitment to offering the most modern technological services, reflecting Qatar’s growing status as a hub for innovation.” Qtel chief operating officer Waleed Mohamed al-Sayed said: “Increasingly, residents in Qatar want the very best in Internet access and entertainment as part of their home life.” “Al Gassar Resort has recognised that demand, and worked with Qtel to be able to offer the incredible experience of Qtel Fibre across the whole waterfront community,” he added. “Qtel has worked with many of Qatar’s most prestigious master developers to ensure they have the very best infrastructure. We believe this agreement with Al Gassar Resort opens a new way for us to work with leaders in real estate and hospitality,” al-Sayed said. Existing Al Gassar Resort residents can sign up to Qtel Fibre services exclusively at the Lagoona Qtel Store in West Bay, where they can also view a demonstration of the next generation services available. Once they have applied for the service, Al Gassar Resort residents will have their Qtel Fibre services connected within seven working days.from gulf times.
