Jordan’s tourism revenues up 16.5%

The Kingdom’s tourism revenues rose by 16.5 percent until the end of July this year standing at JD1.5 billion compared to JD1.2 billion in the same period of 2011, according to Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) figures. Tourism revenues went up in July this year by 9.1 percent compared to the same period of 2011. The rise was basically attributed to the Kingdom’s visitors from Libya, Iraq,Yemen and the United States.
