Hamdan bin Zayed visits camel farms in Dhafra Festival

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region, today visited a number of farms participating in the Al Dhahfra Camel Mazayna Festival for 2014, currently held in the Western Region. Sheikh Hamdan met with the owners of the farms, discussed the activities planned for this year's festival and listened to their proposals.
Sheikh Hamdan praised the keenness of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, for preserving the country's rich heritage through such traditional events.
He said the festival had attracted participants from all GCC countries and wished good luck to all contestants in the Camel Mazayna (beauty) and other competitions.
