South African President Jacob Zuma
Johannesburg - SPA
South African President Jacob Zuma was discharged from hospital on Sunday after undergoing a scheduled procedure the previous day to remove gallstones, the presidency said, according to Reuters.
"Doctors are pleased with the outcome of the operation. The President will spend the next few days resting and recuperating at home," a statement from Zuma's office said.
The presidency said on Saturday the gallstones were discovered about two months ago during a routine medical check-up.

Paris - Emiratesvoice
Two months after legendary designer Azzedine Alaia's sudden death plunged the fashion world into mourning, an exhibition in homage to the "King of Cling" opens Monday in his studios in Paris. The Tunisian-born designer, renowned for the way his clothes hugged the body, died suddenly in November aged 82, reportedly of heart failure after falling down the stairs at his home.
