
Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir on Tuesday received an official invitation to take part in the 39th anniversary of founding the Tigray Peoples Liberation Front (TPLF) in Ethiopian on February 18. Ethiopian Ambassador to Khartoum told "Al-Youm Al-Taly" newspaper out on Tuesday that a high-ranking Sudanese delegation will take part in the celebrations. TPLF has been exerting utmost efforts in rural and urban parts of the country to minimize poverty following the victory registered in the 17-year armed struggle launched against the Derg Regime. The ceremony will include the inauguration of a museum for Tigray fighters and the plane which carried former Ethiopian president Meles Zenawi home after the liberation fights in Ethiopia.
