Jewish settlers stormed the courtyards of Al Aqsa Mosque/Haram Al Sharif in occupied Jerusalem on Sunday.
Director of Islamic Endowments and Al-Aqsa Mosque Affairs, Sheikh Azzam al-Khatib said the extremist settlers stormed the courtyards of Al Aqsa via the Al Magharbeh Gate under the protection of Israeli soldiers.
Al Khatib told Petra that the number of settlers exceeded 140 including extremist rabbis.
