Mohammed bin Rashid reviews Youth Minister's action plan

XXX. Future. The work programme includes a number of awareness programmes and strategic initiatives which will work within an integrated system to support the youth. The system aims at inspiring the youth, taking advantage of their potentials and listening to their aspirations as well as empowering them through continuous training.

The action plan also comprises a number of initiatives and projects such as local youth councils in various emirates to promote the young Emirati model across the country and to coordinate the federal and local efforts.

The action plan also includes Youth Platforms which will be dialogic forums organised periodically in various locations in the UAE to display the best practices and to discuss the most important issues related to young people, their aspirations and challenges in order to come up with practical and innovative ideas.

The action plan also includes Waqf (Endowment) Services which will be provided in cooperation with various business incubators in the country that would contribute to developing youth projects and promote pioneering entrepreneurship in the country.

The list of Waqf services to be provided will include offices for youth projects, services projects and rooms for events for young people as well as endowment licenses for them.

It also includes Youth Platforms, interactive and smart platforms for the youth in the UAE and online platforms for dialogue and discussions on a number of topics and issues of concern to young people in the UAE.

The Action plan will also include the National Strategy for the Youth under which consultation will be provided and youth will be involved in the development of a national and integrated strategy that serves as a framework for all the efforts that are being made to support young people and empower them in society as well as a mechanism for the implementation of initiatives and projects that will develop them.

It will also include the Manual of Emirati Values for the UAE Youth which aims at developing innovative ideas to instil Emirati values ??among the UAE youth which would contribute to enhancing their awareness about the UAE values through using innovative, effective and easy ways.

During the coming period, more details will be announced about these initiatives and others that will be launched as part of the action plan.

AlMazrui confirmed that the Emirates Youth Council will coordinate with all relevant authorities, whether from the government or private sector, to work within a single integrated team framework to reach the desired objectives in line with the vision of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for the youth.
