Algerian Ministry of Defense issued a statement revealing that the Algerian military managed to prevent a terrorist attack in Bouera governorate, as the military forces killed five extremists on Wednesday during inspecting the area.
The military forces found a large amount of weapons and ammunition, saying that the operation comes in the frameworks of the current efforts to fight the extremist cells across the country and to prevent them from raising the chaos in the Algerian territories.
According to the statement, the Algerian military works to eliminate the extremist elements loyal to ISIS in Algeria during this year, stressing that they give the priority to the fight against terrorism and networks of organized crime
