China's first domestically-produced large passenger aircraft

Photo taken on Feb. 29, 2016 shows a model of C919 plane demonstrated at its research base in Shanghai Aircraft Design And Research Institute of the Commercial Aircraft Corp. of China (COMAC), in Shanghai, east China. The C919 plane, China's first domestically-produced large passenger aircraft, was developed by the COMAC. C919 has 158 seats, a standard range of 4,075 kilometers and an extended range of 5,555 kilometers. The C919 plane is scheduled to have its maiden flight in 2016.
