The Secretary General of Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the gulf (GCC) Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani has strongly condemned a movie insulting Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him), describing it as shameful act. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Al-Zayani deplored a film that produced by an irresponsible group in the United States of America, confirming his rejection of all acts that harm religions and their symbols. The GCC Chief also denounced the acts of violence targeting the US embassies in some states of the region with emphasis on the attack against the US embassy libya which killed the US ambassador there and three others of the embassy staff. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani called for dealing with the matter with more wisdom and reason and take more rational measures that could eventually prohibit recurrence of such shameful acts and punishing those in responsible.
