HRH CP praises success of second iteration of the FDPM Fellowship Programme
Manama - Arab Today

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met the second batch of FDPM Fellows at Gudaibiya Palace.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness stressed that investment in exceptional young Bahrainis is integral in facilitating the Kingdom’s sustainable development, and will play a key role in increasing government productivity and efficiency in line with His Majesty King Hamad’s directives.
His Royal Highness went on to highlight the importance of developing young Bahraini’s skills, noting that they have already made significant contributions to various development initiatives in the Kingdom.
Turning to the FDPM fellows, His Royal Highness welcomed their outstanding achievements and praised their commitment to the programme. The Crown Prince emphasised the importance of taking their newly acquired skills back to their places of work, and underscored the contributions they can make to the Kingdom’s development.
Speaking more broadly about the FDPM Fellowship Programme, His Royal Highness noted that the success of the programme to date and the significant interest in the third iteration is a clear indicator that Bahrain’s youth are seizing opportunities to contribute to the Kingdom’s long-term advancement.
His Royal Highness noted that he looks forward to welcoming the third group of fellows to the programme and highlighted that they will undertake advanced training sessions which will help provide more in depth insights around the government’s work and the importance of its integration.
His Royal Highness then expressed gratitude to those who have pioneered the programme within the OFDPM, and praised their extensive efforts and personal commitment. His Royal Highness added that the experiences they have gained will help them going forward, both professionally and personally.
For their part, the FDPM Fellows expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness and for his continued support to such programmes. They also praised the unique experiences they have benefited from throughout the programme, and the role the programme has played in advancing them professionally. The FDPM Fellows also emphasised their enthusiasm for taking their newly acquired skills back to their places of work and the contributions they can make to the Kingdom’s development.
