Iran summons Turkey's envoy over anti-Iran remarks

Iran summoned Turkish ambassador to Tehran on Monday over the recent anti-Iran remarks by the Turkey's president and foreign minister.
According to Press TV, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia and Pacific Affairs Ebrahim Rahimpour handed over an official letter of protest to the Turkish envoy, Reza Hakan Tekin.
During a recent visit to Bahrain, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused Iran of seeking to destabilize Iraq and Syria.
In his speech at the Munich Security Conference on Sunday, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu also criticized what he called an Iranian "sectarian policy" aimed at undermining Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
On Monday, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi advised Turkey's officials not to try to test Iran's patience, saying it will not be "infinite."
"We hope they act more tactfully and vigilantly, otherwise we will not remain silent," Qasemi was quoted as saying by Tehran Times daily.
