Japanese delegation visits UAEU

A delegation from the Japanese Akita University and the Mitsubishi Corporation visited the College of Science in the United Arab Emirates University, UAEU, yesterday.
During the visit, the parties discussed aspects of scientific cooperation between the two universities and the company through joint research on topics of mutual interest, and the importance of renewable energy studies, especially thermal energy and its practical uses.
They also discussed student exchange programmes and summer training, and the possibility of exchanges between faculty members.
The delegation was attended by a number of professors and officials.
