Tens of Malaysians have protested at the US embassy, in the capital of Kuala Lumpur, over a sacrilegious film made by an Israeli-American Sam Bacile which sparked anti-US protests in many Muslim countries. After the weekely Friday Prayer, the protesters headed to the embassy and handed a letter addressed to the American ambassador expressing their anger over the movie and calling for greater respect for religions. Indonesian leaders and a prominent cleric urged the US Administration to ban the film and called for greater respect for Islam and Muslims who have been demonstrating their anger to this offensive movie in front of US embassies in many countries. They also urged the Unites States to bring the film producers and makers to justice.
