
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, this morning received Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Prime Minister of the Republic of Georgia, and his accompanying delegation at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid welcomed his guest, and the two sides discussed a number of topics related to promoting bilateral relations between the UAE and Georgia and their two friendly peoples, in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior.
The Georgian Prime Minister expressed the desire of his country's leadership and people to build cultural, tourism and investment links between his country and the UAE in various fields for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed stressed that the UAE welcomes all nations and peoples, and all those who arrive on its territory such as tourists, businessmen, investors, companies, and intellectuals, in an effort to build relationships between Emirati people and other peoples of the world, spread happiness and achieve common interests away from discrimination based on race, religion or geography.
The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group, Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, and a number of other officials.
