Moroccan suspected of Glorifying Terrorism Arrested in Canary Islands

Spain’s Civil Guard arrested, on Tuesday in Las Palmas (Canary Islands), a Moroccan national suspected of glorifying terrorism, said the Spanish Interior Ministry.
The suspect, 30, used under a pseudonym an account on a social network to express explicit support for several terrorist groups and for the spread of jihadist ideology and terror actions perpetrated in conflict zones, the same source added in a statement.
In 2015, Spanish security forces arrested a total of 182 suspected jihadists and raised its terrorism threat level to 4 (on a scale of 5).
