The Turkish government fights extremists in the country less than it cooperates with them, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday.
"As far as Turkey is concerned, we see a similar situation. However, in our point of view, the current Turkish leadership does not fight radicals as much as it cooperates with them," the president said in a nationally televised show in which he answers questions from the Russian public according to Sputnik International.
