The US State Department has reiterated rejection of Israeli settlement policies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
State Department Spokesman John Kirby said "our policy on settlements is extremely clear. We strongly oppose any unilateral efforts that would prejudge the outcome of negotiations. And as we’ve also said, this is part of a number of trends highlighted in the Quartet Report that are threatening the two-state solution."
