The World Arabian Horse Organisation (WAHO) President Mr Peter Pond departed Bahrain yesterday after participating in the WAHO Conference which was held under the patronage of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Took place on February 5-16, the event featured the participation of delegations representing 41 countries.
Pond was seen off at the airport by HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Deputy Chairman of the High Organising Committee of the WAHO Conference, President of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian Endurance Federation (BREEF), who praised what has been achieved in the Conference and the efforts made by the President and the executive committee members of the Organisation. For his part, Pond hailed Bahrain’s hospitality during the period of the Conference, valuing the Royal patronage to the Conference, affirming the strong role of HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, son of HRH the Crown Prince, Chairman of the High Organising Committee
