Israeli forces demolish 237 Palestinian structures in 2014

Israeli occupation authorities have demolished 237Palestinian structures since the beginning of 2014, including 27 in East Jerusalemand the remainder in Area C of the West Bank, compared to 663 homes during 2013,according to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs(OCHA).The office said in a report on Sunday that 465 Palestinians, including 93 in EastJerusalem, were displaced as a result of the demolishing of buildings, compared to1103 Palestinians during the whole of 2013.Last week, the occupation authorities demolished 21 buildings in Area C and 2 inEast Jerusalem, displacing 39 Palestinians, including 23 children.
