
The Arab League mission following up the Djiboutian presidential elections, chaired by Assistant Secretary General Mohamed al Amin al Ajej, visited the premises of the Independent National Electoral Commission of Djibouti to review preparations for the presidential polls, which will take place Friday.
The mission also visited the electoral campaign HQs of the presidential candidates, an Arab League statement said.
The mission observers have been deployed across the countries' five regions of Ali Sabieh, Arta, Dikhil, Obock and Tadjourah for the polls in addition to the capital Djibouti.
President Ismail Omar Guelleh is running for a fourth term as president on Friday.
