The Arab League (AL)'s emergency meeting at the level of permanent delegates started on Thursday to discuss the Israeli prime minister's remarks on the Syrian Golan Heights.
The meeting, held under Bahrain's permanent representative to the AL Rashed bin Abdul Rahman Al Khalifa, probes the possibility of taking a unified Arab stance against the escalating Israeli steps and comments of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who vowed to keep the occupied Syrian Golan Heights in Israel's hands forever.
The AL meeting is organized at a request of Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
