The first meeting of the working group in charge of following up the implementation of the unified Arab strategic plan for the alliance of civilizations started work at the Arab League (AL) on Sunday.
The meeting was attended by representatives from member countries including Egypt, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Morocco.
Director of the AL Inter Civilizations Dialogue Department Samia Bibars said the team was formed in line with an initiative offered by a number of Arab countries to carry out the plan in the coming two years.
Bibars stated that the plan is part of efforts exerted by the pan-Arab organization to promote inter-civilization dialogue.
