
Arab League mini-ministerial committee aiming to end the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories listened to Palestinian Foreign Minister’s review concerning the latest developments in the Palestinian territories, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said on Monday.
In a press release, he said that the Palestinian Foreign Minister has focused on Israeli policies in expanding settlement, Israeli violations against Palestinians due to blockade policy and settlers’ continuous storming to Al Aqsa Mosque.
The committee agreed on assigning the Arab group in the United Nations to hold talks in order to press on the international community to support the Palestinian cause in order to end the Israeli occupation.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry presided over the committee meeting that includes representatives from Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, Morocco and the AL.
