Defence minister accepts new batch of recruits

Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi approved on Sunday a new batch of army conscripts (April 2017 Stage).
Application will start as of today.
At a press conference, director of the army's recruitment and mobilization department Mohi el Din Kamal Abdel Aleem said the new batch will comprise youths holding different educational certificates.
Recruitment offices across the nation will receive applicants as of January 21 and medical checkups will be performed starting from February 2 till 20 to see whether they are fit for military service or not, he said.
But those who are not holding any certificates will present their papers from February 15 and medical checkups will be performed from February 26 till March 11.
Applicants should present copies of their educational certificates, criminal status record, blood group and birthday certificate.
