Manama - BNA

An Egyptian popular diplomatic delegation today paid tribute to His Majesty Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, hailing strong bilateral relations. Head of the delegation veteran journalist Makram Mohammed Ahmed lauded HM the King for affirming Bahrain's unwavering stance in support of Egypt. "The meeting with HM the king reflects strong relations bonding the Kingdom of Bahrain and Egypt", he said in a press conference convened this evening in Manama. He hailed HM the King for his wise vision and farsighted reading of the current Arab situation. He quoted HM the King saying that any threats endangering Egypt would jeopardise the security of the whole Arab region. The delegation paid tribute to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister for his keenness on Egypt's stability.
