
An elderly man died early Thursday after inhaling tear gas fired by Israeli soldiers at homes in Kufr Qaddoum, near Qalqilya, said medical sources.Said Jasser, 85, was brought to the Arab Hospital in Nablus on Wednesday suffering from tear gas inhalation. He was reported in critical condition until his death shortly after midnight.Soldiers fired several tear gas canisters inside Jasser’s home and other houses during a crackdown on a march in the village organized to mark 49 years for the launch of the Palestinian revolution against Israel, said witnesses.
