
In its regular 69th session presided over here today by Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Shiekh, Majlis Ashura (Consultative Council) re-formed its specialized committees and named the heads and deputy heads of the committees set to kick off their activities on 03/03/1435 H. The committees were re-shuffled as follows: Islamic and Judicial Affairs committee with Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdullah Albrahim as chairman; the Social, Family and Youth Affairs committee having Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Hadlaq as chairman; the Administration and Human Resources committee with Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Naji as chairman; the Economic and Energy Affairs committee of which Saleh bin Eid Al-Hussein is its chairman; Security Affairs committee headed by Dr. Saud bin Humaid Al-Sibaiee as chairman; Educational and Scientific Research committee chaired by Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah; Cultural and Information committee with Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al-Katheeri as chairman; Foreign Affairs committee which will be lead by Dr. Khider bin Olayan Al-Qurashi; Health and Environment Affairs committee with Dr. Mohsin bin Ali Al-Hazmi as chairman; Financial Affairs committee headed by Dr. Saad bin Mohammed bin Ahmed Mareq Assiri; Housing, Water and General Services committee with Mohammed bin Dakhel Al-Mitairi as chairman; Transport, Communications and Information Technology committee to be chaired by Dr. Sa'adoon bin Saad Al-Saadoon; and Human Rights and Petitions committee which will be chaired by Dr. Abdullah bin Muhareb Al-Dhifairi.
