Saudi Arabia's embassy in Washington denied media reports that the alliance to support legitimacy in Yemen is imposing restrictions on the import of dialysis equipment to Yemen.
The embassy confirmed in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on Wednesday that there are no restrictions on the delivery of humanitarian aids to Yemen, including medical equipment.
The statement added that inspection procedures and mechanisms aim to prevent weapons smuggling into Yemen and that these procedures do not hamper the delivery of humanitarian aids to Yemen.
The statement also stressed that the alliance is the biggest donor of humanitarian assistance to Yemen, including medicines and medical equipment.
