Warplane crashes to ground in clashes in Damascus

A warplane crashed to the ground Friday during fierce clashes erupted between opposition forces and forces loyal to President Bashar Al-Assad in Damascus, Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
The observatory said in a statement issued Friday that a warplane crashed to ground in al-Qalamoun, in the countryside of Damascus, which is witnessing fierce fighting between opposition forces, including Islamic brigades, Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and Al-Nusra Front, and forces loyal to President Bashar Al-Assad.
There was conflicting news whether the plane was downed by opposition forces or by a technical failure. The destiny of the plane is still unknown.
In Hama, the observatory said that regime forces targeted areas in a village, in the countryside of Hama, and killed at least eight people, including three children.
It was reported that there are fierce clashes between forces loyal to Al-Assad and opposition forces in the town of Meliha in the suburb of Damascus. There are causalities in the two forces.
