Gladbach held by new boys Fortuna

Promoted side Fortuna Dusseldorf earned an important point from a goalless draw against Borussia Monchengladbach in their first home Bundesliga match in 15 years. Dusseldorf were forced to play their game against local rivals Gladbach in front of just 20,000 fans - with 5,000 visiting supporters - due to fan behaviour in the relegation play-offs at the end of last season. Dusseldorf can be thrilled with having collected four points from their first two league games this season with Gladbach matching that tally. Gladbach had the first chance of the game after just two minutes as Havard Nordtveit\'s throw-in landed in front of Martin Stranzl, who blasted his shot over the bar from ten yards out.
