Oman coach Paul Le Guen has announced 25-member squad for the crucial 2014 World Cup qualification match against Jordan on October 16. As reported by Times Sport earlier, top players Hussain Al Hadhri and Ahmed Hadeed will not feature in the final team due to injury. Ali Al Habsi will continue to be the captain while the team includes senior players Imad Al Hosni, Fouzi Basheer, Ahmed \'Kanu\' Mubarak, Mohammed Al Balushi, Ismail Al Ajmi and Hassan Mudhafar. \"The is a quite balanced side and I am sure Le Guen didn\'t want to take any chances especially after injury to Hadhri and Hadeed,- said a source close to the team management. Regular players Abdulaziz Al Muqbali, Jaber Al Owaisi, Mohammed Al Musalami, Saad Suhail, Raid Ibrahim, Eid Al Farsi, Juma Darwish also features in the side. Ahead of the clash, Oman will play a friendly against Kuwait on October 11and most of the star players are expected to play in the match. \"I think this side has can strike a chord and I am sure they will really do well against Jordan,- added the source. The team will also have their external camp in Egypt from October 6 to 16. The team will two friendly games against the U-22 Egyptian team and then against the second-string side on October 15. \"We are doing a good job and with the friendlies against Italy and Jordan I will be able to analyise the players more closely then,- Burle pointed out. \"I advise all the players to play at their best in the upcoming League so that we will have a good pool of players to choose from,- he added.
