Santos Laguna leapt to sixth in the Apertura table with a 3-1 win at Atlante on Sunday. Daniel Luduena opened the scoring after 14 minutes and Carlos Quintero doubled the lead just before the hour mark. Substitute Sergio Napoles pulled one back in the 82nd minute but any hopes of a comeback lasted two minutes before Oribe Peralta netted the visitors' third. Second-half strikes from Martin Bravo (58) and half-time substitute Eduardo Herrera (65) gave Unam Pumas a 2-1 win over Puebla, who pulled one back four minutes later through Matias Alustiza but could not find a leveller.
