Asian Men\'s Junior Handball kicks off

Minister of State for Interior Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani opened on Saturday evening the 2012 Asian Men\'s Junior Handball Championship being hosted by Doha until 13 July with the participation of 14 teams. HE the Minister of State for  Interior Affairs in a speech at the opening ceremony wished success to all the participating teams. The ceremony saw a presentation of a short film on the achievements of Qatar Handball. It was attended by Ahmed Al-Shaabi, President of the Qatar Handball and Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the tournament, as well as members of the organizing committee, and Badr Diab as representative of the Asian Handball.  The event is a qualifying tournament to the  Men\'s Junior World Championship 2013  to be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
