Force India have announced that they hope to run their new JVM08 for the first time on Friday afternoon at the final pre-season test in Barcelona.
The Silverstone-based team missed the first test in Jerez and then ran last season's car in Barcelona in the second test last week.
However, they are hoping to squeeze in just two-and-a-half days testing before the season gets underway for real at the Australian Grand Prix on March 15.
"Our VJM08 is currently on its way to Barcelona; we'll be aiming for action on Friday afternoon and on the two full final days," the team said via its official Twitter account.
German driver Nico Hulkenberg will take the wheel on Friday afternoon with the remaining two days being split between him and his Mexican teammate Sergio Perez.
