Lazio boss Edy Reja said on Thursday he was leaving the team. \"I\'m leaving Lazio. Yes, I confirm it. It was a decision that people already knew about,\" he said. Reja had looked set leave since tendering his resignation a day before Lazio\'s Europa League match at Atletico Madrid in February. The club rejected the resignation and insisted Reja go with the team to Madrid, where they lost 1-0 to exit in the competition\'s round of 32 4-1 on aggregate, but it had appeared a move designed to buy time rather than a bid to keep the current boss. \"I\'ll still likely meet with the president, but I\'m not one to change my mind,\" he said Thursday.
