China issued an orange warning ahead of another typhoon, Danas, forecast to enter the East China Sea on Monday night. The 24th typhoon this year means waves up to 10 meters from Monday to Tuesday noon, according to the National Marine Environmental Forecasting Center. The typhoon is expected to have weak impact offshore and will move north and northeast in 24 to 72 hours, the center said. Danas follows Fitow which had affected more than 3 million in east China\'s Zhejiang Province on Monday. Fitow made landfall in Fujian Province, in adjacent to Zhejiang, early Monday morning, with winds over 150 km per hour. Red alerts, the highest warning, for waves and storm tides were issued on Sunday. The forecasting center urged local authorities to reinforce fishing facilities and repair sea walls and sea gates to prepare for the tides. China has a four-tier color-coded weather warning system, with red representing the most severe, followed by orange, yellow and blue.
