An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted an area east of the Gulf of Aden off the coast of Yemen today. Yemen News Agency (Saba) quoted Vice-President of the National Center for the study and monitoring of earthquakes and volcanoes Eng. Saleh Al-Muflahi as saying that digital seismic monitoring stations of the Centre set the tremor’s epicentre in the eastern Gulf of Aden at the meeting point of latitude 13.28 north and latitude 49.46 east longitude at the depth of 10 km undersea.
