EPA: No Iraqi vessel ablaze in Kuwaiti waters

The Environment Public Authority (EPA) issued a statement on Sunday refuting reports circulated through social media here regarding a supposed Iraqi vessel that is ablaze within or very close to Kuwaiti territorial waters. The statement said the EPA "closely follows up on all such incidents with all concerned authorities in the country," and also cautioned the public against circulating any reports of this nature. EPA also urged all to seek official, accurate and verifiable information from proper sources on all matters
