Ethiopia's Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn said Thursday that his talks with South Sudan President Salva Kiir tackled the Renaissance Dam. Desalegn was quoted by the Ethiopian news agency as saying that he inquired about Kiir's latest visit to Egypt, which the South Sudanese president said it had nothing to do with the Ethiopian dam. Kiir stressed that his government didn't object to establishing the dam and it was ready for signing the cooperative framework agreement on Nile River. If South Sudan signed the agreement, it will be the seventh state to do that after Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Burundi
