Light earth tremor in Sousse and Monastir

An earth tremor measuring 2.6 degrees on the Richter scale was registered, on Saturday at 03.40 p.m. (local hour) in the governorates of Sousse and Monastir. According to the analyses of the National Meteorological Institute's seismological department, the epicentre of the tremor is located at 35.84 degrees latitude and 10.59 degrees longitude between the governorates of Sousse and Monastir. The tremor was felt by the inhabitants of Monastir.
