Mild quake hits northwest Sanaa

A mild earthquake measuring 4.2 on Richter scale hit on Sunday, Hufash area of Al-Mahwit province northwest Yemeni Capital Sana’a. The epicenter of the quake was 25 kilometer southwest Al-Mahwit city and at a depth of 23 kilometer, said the Yemeni Centre for Seismic Studies. The region seismically active as where similar seismic activities where registed in previous years without causing any damage.
