Northeastern US slowly recovering from Tuesday\'s heavy snowstorm

The northeastern United States is slowly recovering on Wednesday from the heavy snowstorm that dumped more than 12 inches in some states yesterday, forcing some offices to close and disturbing commuting and flights.
