
Kuwait Petrochemical Industries Company announced that it will continue executing its project on planting trees along Kuwait's borders next Tuesday.Deputy Executive Chief in the company Abdullah Al-Suwailim said in a press statement on Saturday that the project represents the company's beliefs about society's role in protecting the environment and encouraging voluntary work in the country.The company is cooperating with the Environmental Voluntary Foundation to execute the planting project aiming to plant about 500,000 trees, which is yet the largest environmental voluntary event in Kuwait, said Al-Suwailim, adding that the first tree was planted in July 2012.The company called on three public schools and one private to participate in the project, an initiative which was welcomed by officials in the Ministry of Education and the schools' staff, said Al-Suwailim.
