Qatar's embassy in Katmandu last week has distributed humanitarian aid offered by the Qatari government for those affected by the floods that hit a number of Nepalese provinces and villages, leading to several deaths and huge material damages.
The aids, provided in coordination with the Islamic center and a charity association in Nepal, included food supplies such as rice, sugar, lentil and cooking oil as well as blankets, serving 1,126 families and a total of 4,260 people.
The beneficiaries expressed their delight at the humanitarian aid and Qatar's support for them during their ordeal.
