A new round of heavy rainfall has struck neighborhoods in Calgary, Canada, where the ground was already saturated from recent rains, government officials said. Water seeped into some basements and flooding around the city kept emergency crews busy, CBC News reported Friday. Crews also responded to flooded homes in Sunnyside along the Bow River, where residents that had been victims of high waters only last month. Pools of water on roads and underpasses slowed traffic in many parts of the city. Sections of two roads were closed temporarily. City officials were cautiously optimistic levels of the Bow and Elbow rivers would not add to the city\'s water woes. \"While water flows do remain high, they are stable,\" said Dan Limacher, director of Calgary\'s water services. \"The Bow River\'s water flow is currently 410 cubic meters [14,479 cubic feet] per second -- similar to what it has been the last several days and is expected to remain for at least a couple of days yet.\"
