During the period, heavy snow will hit the plateau's southern and eastern parts, eastern parts of Tibet autonomous region, northern and western parts of the Western Sichuan Plateau, the center said. The center also forecasted that snow and sleet will sweep Inner Mongolia and northeast China from Wednesday to Friday. Furthermore, winter wheat growing regions in north China are expected to see light rain on Wednesday and Thursday, the center added.
