The operator of the Japan\'s Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant resumed decontamination of waste water early Monday. On Friday, Tokyo Electric Power Company resumed a test run of its Advanced Liquid Processing System, or ALPS system, designed to remove radioactive materials from the contaminated water, according to Japan\'s (NHK WORLD). But it suspended the operation in less than 24 hours after it detected the flow of radioactive wastewater had declined in a pipe which sent the water into a storage tank. The ALPS system has experienced a number of troubles, including a water leak caused by corrosion in June.
